Takeaways from AI Week in Milan, a $100M case study, and why 90-day plans might be the new long-term.

Amber here!

I went to Milan for AI Week and I’m back with all the scoop. The conference wasn’t actually a week long. It was only two days. And, honestly, I only went one day.

The second day I went to Milan city center to explore. I mean, when in Milan, you’ve got to! But that says nothing about the conference. I really enjoyed it and I got what I came for. This week, I’m sharing the good, the bad, and the part that made me feel very suspicious.

We covered a lot in this episode, like:

  • The moment at Milan that made Amber feel very uneasy

  • The two specific things nobody at AI Week wanted to talk about.

  • A $100M ad budget, cut by 25%, with better results. The HelloFresh breakdown.

  • Work is our soul. Or is it? The debate that branding expert Emily Hickey sparked.

  • Khaïry’s Sunday 5pm mood problem, and what AI said when she finally asked about it.

  • The scuba instructor who moved to consulting “for his mom.” The look on his face.

  • Dr. Becky’s take on AI for kids. Let’s discuss.

  • Choose your hard. IKYK

There is no plan right now that lasts more than 90 days. - Khaïry

We are excited to hear your reactions to all of this too.
