We Raised Our Kids Across 10 Countries.

Here’s What It Cost Us.

Amber here!

Khaïry and I sat down to answer the most important question: what does it actually cost to raise your kids everywhere?

We’ve lived between us in Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Ethiopia, Côte d’Ivoire, France, Canada, Croatia, Portugal, and the US. Our kids have been to more countries than many adults. And it's a whole different lifestyle that sometimes even we can't process.

This episode stayed personal. We covered:

What our kids have that we never did — and what they’ll never have that we did
The thing Khaïry was trying to protect her kids from (and when she stopped)
What moving every year costs a marriage
∙ We have seen couples move abroad and divorce — and what we think is actually happening there
How we keep kids close to family when family is scattered across six countries and four continents
What Europe and West Africa taught our kids about rest, money, and independence that the US couldn’t
Khaïry’s brothers are in Nairobi, Casablanca, and Bali. My kids thought they were from Ethiopia for a bit.

This episode is a lot of fun and a lot of truth.

We hope you love it!

Come find out where we say we’re from.
