The $1.2M Funnel. A Designer Breaks Down Why It Worked.

Amber here!

Before we dive in, I need to confess, Cathy Olson is one of my favorites.

Co-founder of Funnel Gorgeous and FG Funnels, classically trained graphic designer, purple-haired visionary, and someone who will tell you the truth about your design. It’s all done in love because she knows what she is doing and she wants you to succeed.

That’s exactly what Khaïry and I were chatting about when we absolutely had to pull Cathy in.

We’d just been talking about my How to Clone Yourself book cover process — how I ended up bouncing between ChatGPT and Claude Design to get some ideas, and I nervously hand AI-generated mood boards to my cover designer. Cathy had thoughts, and they might surprise you!

What followed was one of the most useful conversations I’ve had so far about AI and creative work:

  • Why AI design has the same problem AI writing had two years ago

  • What the Jesse Jean $1.2M yapping course launch teaches us about vibes versus conversion (yes we are talking about yapping - iykyk, it not, we’ve got you!)

  • Why Cathy retrained Claude on design reasoning from scratch to teach it how humans actually read a sales page

One thing’s for sure, change is constant.

It’s fun to chat through what the future of design may look like and dive into some serious examples of what is working now.

Listen in and do share, are you yapping too? 😉

(Me and Cathy are! I start July 1)
